Rene Pelleya-Kouri and Betty Lara are ordained ministers that seek the presence of God in their private time.  They have been serving the Lord and His people for over two decades in their home. They initially started with a weekly home group, teaching and equipping the body of Christ.

They soon expanded their ministry and traveled to places like Uganda, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Pakistan, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Ecuador, Brazil, Columbia and the United States.  They have preached the Gospel, they have seen the blind see, the lame walk and many other miracles as they pray and lay hands on the sick.  For twelve years, they have supported Watoto Orphanage in Tanzania and Glory House of Miami, both non-profits supporting the freedom of survivors of human trafficking.

While Rene and Betty were working full time, they continued to welcome people in their home that needed freedom from bondage.

Now that Rene retired from the medical office and Betty from Glory House of Miami, they will be able to serve His people full time through Love and Fire Ministries. Rene and Betty are venturing into starting a Podcast to continue to preach the Gospel and reach as many as possible for the Kingdom of God. Rene has several books he will be writing.

Betty and Rene’s foundational scripture is “The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon me, for the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor.  He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted and to proclaim that captives will be released, and prisoners will be freed”. Isaiah 61:1
